Alan was thrilled to find the envelope - and it's not the first time he has found art on the street! As it happens, this is the second time I've found free art on the street. I also found some in Dublin back by an illustrator back in February!

Simone found the envelope out of a bunch of magazines in Florence at a record store while waiting for service: Just the imagination of they way the print traveled and who might have considered to take it but put it back so it was waiting for me to take it home thrilled me and I will certainly keep it for myself.

Jacopo found the envelope at the Paperback Exchange bookshop in Florence. He tells:
Now I may keep it for myself, or i may send it to my Icelandic friend Hlin.

When Troy found the print, he was thrilled. He was traveling through Italy during his holiday. The invitation to pick up the envelope was irresistible. I knew if I didn't I would be missing out on something special.

The print itself is lovely. It spoke to me vividly. I am the director of an organization called Equality Utah. We are the state's political advocacy group for the LGBTQ community. The image of two people, seemingly adrift, but reaching out to each other resonated with our work.

Here in Utah, the LGBTQ community has historically been at odds with the larger Mormon population. But in recent years many people have been reaching out, extending hands of friendship, and helping each other overcome our divisions.

Your piece reminds me of the need we all have to reach out and help each other along our journey. None of us can make it on our own.

Vol 5 / nr 12 / Chicago, USA

David found the print while he walking with his girlfriend in Florence Italy. She was a little apprehensive about picking it up but I convinced her it was OK and we grabbed your envelope. The print is beautiful and we will keep it as a great memory of our experience in Italy.

We decided to meet un in Florence because we have a lots of memories here. For me find the print it was a sign of fate. I started to feeling lucky, and i started to be happy. Seriously i think that this project it's very original, addictive and really funny. I'm telling this story to all my friends. I love the picture: Two people who approach again. Like me and my best friend.

Vol 5 / nr 80 / New York City, US

Effy writes: When I first saw the envelope, I took it on a whim, unsure if it was meant for anyone even though it clearly wasn't. The piece itself is breathtaking and wonderfully done. While I know it wasn't "meant" for anyone, I would like to believe it was meant for me. Titled "Arriving" the piece shows one person reuniting with another - at the time, a moment I could empathize with.
